He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Noakes and Sadie Marvelle Noakes; and his siblings, Joyce Bradley, Kennard Anderson, Thomas "Tommy" Anderson and Thomas "Tom" Noakes.

He is survived by: his daughters, Charlotte Noakes and Kayla Cranford; his grandchildren, Noakes Bohannon, Noah Bohannon, Kanenn Williams and Dseraye Williams; his sisters, Barbara Jo Noakes-Robinson and Patty Jo Niedert; his niece Donna Ward; and his sister-in-law Jean Anderson.
