It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elsie Mae Habighorst of Centerton, Arkansas, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Terrell and Eva Terrell (Strickland); her husband Aloysius Habighorst; and her brother Paul Terrell. She is survived by: her children, Karla Burch (Phil) of Marrero and Karl Habighorst (Qun) of Centerton, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Monan, Edward, Richard, Bryan and Brad Kemp; and her great grandchildren, Connor, Lilly, Mason, Emma and Adalynn. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and other beloved family and friends.
Elsie requested memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her name: P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
