With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Leon Shriver of Centerton, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 14, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Shriver and Naomi Shriver; his wife Pat Shriver; his sons, Gary Shriver and Dale Shriver; his brother Jack Shriver; his niece Susan Erickson; and his friend Richard Morris (Curly).
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Shriver of Casper, WY, Michael Shriver of Sutherland, IA and Mark Shriver of Sutherland, IA; his grandchildren, Amanda Blazek of Lee's Summit, MO, Krystal Hill (Shane) of Chilhowee, MO, Rick Shriver (Kristen) of Lee's Summit, MO, Rachel Brown (Scott) of Lee's Summit, MO, Jamie Shriver of Paullina, IA, David Shriver (Gretchen) of Centerton, AR, Ryan Shriver of Marcus, IA, Aleah Shriver of Aurelia, IA, Christa Gravenish (Scott) of Merrill, IA, Michael Shriver (Amber) of Cherokee, IA, Bethany Burdt (Jeremy) of Sutherland, IA, Briana Wetrich (Andrew) of Sioux Rapids, IA and Bianca Shriver of Sutherland, IA; his sister-in-law Lorna Shriver of Milwaukee, WI; and his nieces, Vickie Fahrenkrug (Don) of Pagosa Springs and Cinda Zielinski (Garrick) of Franklin, WI. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bella Vista Funeral Home (2258 Forest Hills Blvd, Bella Vista, AR 72715). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM at the Bella Vista Cemetery (30 Buckstone Dr, Bella Vista, AR 72715).
