It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Shotzman-Wagoner of Charleston, Arkansas, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Drewie Hodges and Leona Fay Hodges (Cox); her husbands, Harold Dean Shotzman and Doye Wagoner; and her siblings, Beverly Hodges, Glenda Rice (Suzie), Alma Parish, Wayne Hodges and Robert Hodges.
She is survived by: her sons, Dean Shotzman (Deanna) of Charleston, Richard Shotzman (Gail) of Charleston and Shawn Shotzman (Gill Brown); her stepchildren, Dale Wagoner, Deborah Wagoner and Aaron Wagoner; and her sisters, Monett Parrish of Fort Smith, Kathleen Barnes (Johnny) of Van Buren, Donna Jackson (Kelley) of Ozark, Frances Bauer (Dennis) of Fort Smith and Debra Bond of Natural Dam. She is also survived by grandchildren; and (20) great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel (32117 AR-22, Charleston, AR 72933). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
