With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Wayne Pettway of Charleston, Arkansas, who passed away on July 22, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Duke Pettway and Verna Pettway. He is survived by: his children, Chris Pettway (Danielle), Lakin Brown (Jeremy) and Josie Pettway; his grandchildren, Blaine Pettway, Mason Brown, Maxx Brown and Hazel Pettway; his partner's daughter Audrey Warren; and his siblings, Bill Pettway (Patty), Sandy Goodwin (Joe), Ron Pettway (Phyllis), David South (Julie), Linda Kolker (Steve) and Sheila Dolan (Dennis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McConnell Funeral Home (137 N Main St, Greenwood, AR 72936). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Liberty Cemetery (11736 AR-96, Greenwood, AR 72936).
