She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene VanMeter and Louise VanMeter (Tolbert); her husband James Richard Breen (Rick); and her son Gary Cross. She is survived by: her children, Ginger Harris of Charleston, Del Cross of San Francisco and Larry Cross of Prosper, Texas; her sisters, Jeanne Tate (David) of Lavaca and Patti Anzar (Ernest) of Anderson, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Cody Cross, Jarred Cross, Levi Harris, Josh Harris, Mikayla Smith and Bethany Smith. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brotherton Bros Funeral Home-Charleston (32117 AR-22, Charleston, AR 72933). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at the Memories Cemetery.
