He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen W. Gipson and Edwina H. Johnson (Spears); his fathers-in-law, William Walker "Butch" Dorrough and Steven L.; and his grandparents, Nellie Spears, Marie, Chappell and William Mathaniel "Bill" Brasher.
He is survived by: his wife Penny M. Dorrough Gipson of Van Buren, Arkansas; his mother-in-law Thelma Dorrough Crowder Brasher (late Steven Crowder); his siblings, David Dorrough (late Denise), Todd Dorrough (Doris) of Lavaca, Arkansas, Sherry Dorrough Richmond (Dave) of Barling, Denise Dorrough Moore (late James "Jim") of Lavaca and Amber Dorrough Hale (Tyras "Ty") of Greenwood, Arkansas; and his close friend Cory L. Tower of Globe, Arizona.. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
