He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Truman Byrd and Edna Viola Byrd (Patterson); his brother Brent Rofkahr; and his stepfather Harley Gossage. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Byrd (Knotts); his children, Erica Price (Lark), Megan Byrd of DeWitt, Shaneika Bottoms (Taylor), Justice Byrd (Taj), Kimberly Byrd (John), Krystal Byrd of Charleston, Lucy Byrd of Charleston, Akyria Byrd of Charleston, Jose Byrd of Charleston, Danny Byrd (Raven) and Levi Hess of Fort Smith; his siblings, Candace Cottrell (Royce), Roni Elliott (Stephen), Leslie Battles of Ozark and Leonard Rofkahr (Matildia); and his grandchildren, Zeke and Amirah Bottoms.
