It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Everett Buckner II of Charleston, Arkansas, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peggy Joyce Smith Buckner and Everett Buckner; his sister Melinda Pillstrom; his mother-in-law Nancy Flanagan; and his siblings-in-law, Lyla Schmalz and Keith Quick.
He is survived by: his wife Lee Schmalz Buckner; his children, Lauren Harris and Alec Buckner (Laura) of Charleston; his grandchildren, Kace Harris, Kysen Harris and Murphy Buckner; his sisters, Melissa Wattinger (Tom) of Austin, Mary Ann Quick of Austin, Manda Holt (Mark) of Pflugerville and Martha Hudy (Ray) of Austin; and his sister-in-law Libby Schmalz (Astra Goforth). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
