He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hawbaker and Dolores Hawbaker (Barnett); his in-laws, Eugene and Alice Skinner; and his grandson Nate Hawbaker.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Skinner-Coble of Cherokee Village; his children, William Hawbaker of Iowa, Ben Hawbaker (Sonja) of Iowa, Paul Coble of Iowa, Craig Coble (Kari) of Iowa, Dianne Maurer (Derek) of Missouri and Carrie Bull (Dan) of Mississippi; and his sister Carolyn Thomton (Steve) of Colorado. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, many sisters- & brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jerry's name to the charity of your choosing or to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which he was fond of.
