She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Phelps and Lizzie Mae Ray Phelps; her children, Cynthia Jo "Cindy" Russell Higginbottom and James Steven "Steve" Russell; her husband Buddy; her great grandchild Blake; and her siblings, Ruth, Betty Jo and Jack.
She is survived by: her children-in-law, Bobby Higginbottom and Sandy Russell; her grandchildren, Jennifer Lloyd (John) of Mena, Mary Beth Higginbottom of Hardy, Alyssia Fisher (Stephen) of Highland, Logan Russell (Lizzy) of Jonesboro and Carly Russell of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Meadow Higginbottom, Lane, Leah Worthington and Jaxon Fisher; and her brother-in-law Bill Russell of Hardy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, her wishes are for donations to be made to the NICU at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock or to the Fulton County Chapter of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
