He was predeceased by : his parents, George Freeman and Flora Freeman (Ramey); his stepson Greg Swopes; and his sister Norma Payne. He is survived by : his wife Jean; his children, Sarah Jane Thomas of Sapulpa, OK, LeAnn Long of Oologah, OK and Christopher Freeman of Broken Arrow; and his siblings, Cecil Freeman of Chester and Barbara Voles of Broken Arrow, OK. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ocker Funeral Home (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956).
