With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susie Murphy of Chester, Arkansas, born in Van Buren, Arkansas, who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth Emberton; and her sister Diane Williams. She is survived by: her mother Helen Emberton of Chester; her children, Tyler Belcher (Michael) of Chester, Steven Franklin (Tamara) of Van Buren and Kellsie Clayborn (Dillon) of Natural Dam; her brother Roger Emberton of Chester; her brother-in-law David Williams of Uniontown; and her grandchildren, Aiden, Teo, Lakelyn, Kayson and Dakota. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ocker Funeral Home (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crossroads Cowboy Church (14445 N Hwy 59, Natural Dam, AR 72948). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the Hall Cemetery.
