We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2025, at the age of 76, Jerry Melvin Ellis of Clarendon, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack "Honey" Ellis and Juanita Ellis of Clarendon; and his sister Judy McKown. He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Ellis (Kitty) of Omaha, Johnny Ellis (Tammy) of Clarendon, James Ellis of Little Rock, Jackie Rogers (Jimmy) of Clarendon and Janet Tweedle (Jimmy) of Alexander; his children, Jason Ellis (Megan) of Clarendon and Julie Gardner (Derrek) of Brighton, TN; his grandsons, Jagger Young (Ashlyn) of Piggott, Jarek Ellis (Kailan) of Rector, Jase Ellis of Brighton, TN, Jake and John Luke Ellis of Clarendon; and his great grandchildren, Kinslee and Haven.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church (680 N 2nd St, Clarendon, AR 72029). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God - Clarendon (680 N 2nd St, Clarendon, AR 72029). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Shady Grove Cemetery (143 AR-86, Clarendon, AR 72029).
