It is with sadness that the passing of Assefa Egziabher (Clarksville, Arkansas) is shared. Assefa, born on April 1, 1954, passed away on September 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Assefa will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Assefa by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Assefa is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Assefa’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gebre Egziabher and Tsegue Baraki. He is survived by: his children, Assefa Egziabher Jr. and Lanitera Egziabher of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Destiny Dodson of Fayetteville and Paul Egziabher of Compton, California; his great grandchild Londyn Dodson of Fayetteville; and his siblings, Solomon, Mulu and Daniel. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel (509 W Main St, Clarksville, AR 72830). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
