He was predeceased by : his parents, William Lawrence Ballard and Toni Stewart Ballard; the mother of his children Mary Ann Whitecotton Ballard; and his wives, Juanita Cook Ballard and Dorcas Holicer Ballard.

He is survived by : his brother Yarb Ballard (Ruth Ann); his son Tony Ballard; his grandson Cliff LeFlore (Kristen); his great grandchildren, Landry and Lad LeFlore; and his friends, Bill and Sandy Sanders.
