He was predeceased by: his parents, Benson Byrd and Martha Jane Dodson Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Linda Byrd; his children, Cara LeAnne Colvin and Jonathan David Byrd (Mandie); his granddaughters, Hanna Jane Colvin, Annabelle Mary Katheryn Byrd, Emilee Raychel Byrd and Madeline Ruth Byrd; his sister Evelyn Byrd Jeffers; and his nephew Jason Jeffers.
