He was predeceased by: his parents, Labanner Stepp and Hazel Stepp; his former wife Peggy Stepp; his son Douglas Dale Stepp; and his siblings, Marvin Stepp, Joe Stepp, Wayne Stepp, Gary Stepp, Shirley Ann Stepp and Phyllis Stepp.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Stepp; his children, Dennis Stepp (Jennifer), Thomas Stepp, Rosalie Johnson and Jean Ellis (Shane); his stepdaughters, Contasha Vasquez (Ignacio) and Crystal Zuniga Marquez (Fransico); his siblings, Jimbo Stepp, Carolyn Merklin (Joe), Barbara Warren, Juanita Hill, Pamela Cannon (Darrell) and Verdale Hill (Leon); Chris May (Amber). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel (509 W Main St, Clarksville, AR 72830). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Oark Cemetery (203 Co Rd 5261, Oark, AR 72852).
