It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Ann Smith of Clarksville, Arkansas, born in Leachville, Arkansas, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Layden and Christia Layden (Sullivan); and her sister Betty Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Smith; her children, Jerry Smith, Jr. of Anaheim, California, Darren Smith of Bentonville, Arkansas, Kevin Smith of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Angela Bishop of Clarksville, Arkansas and Amanda Sullivan of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; and her siblings, John Layden of Searcy, Arkansas, Truman Layden, Jr. of Alma, Arkansas, Dorothy Yarbrough of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Diane Fielder of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee and Mary Roberts of Searcy, Arkansas. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
