She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Guy Overton and Hattie Weiss Overton; her son Jerry LaWayne Lax; her husband Loran Levi Lax (Jack); and her siblings, Hazel McClane, Geneva Lax, Vera Mae Hargus, Imogene Swafford and George Weiss.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Don Lax (Brenda) of Knoxville, Arkansas and Barbara Eldredge of Clarksville, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Kim, Sean Sarten, Felicity, Ricky Dalton, Jacky, Bridgett Lax and Katie Eldredge; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Shawna Rice, Samantha Childers, Madison Stutzman, Kade Sarten, Levi Eldredge, Trenton, Michala Lax and Loren Lax; and her great great grandchildren, Sutton Lax, Sawyer Lax, Saylor Lax and Sienna Lax.
