He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennings Weldy and Avis Eldora Weldy (Thrope); his wife Laura Weldy (Abel); and his children, Jackie Zlokovich and Russell Weldy.
He is survived by: his sons, Vince Weldy (Sue) of Kelsyville and Earl Weldy of Clarksville, Arkansas. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
