He was predeceased by : his parents, Placido and Maria (Refugio Gamez). He is survived by : his wife Carolina Gamez; his children, David Gamez, Leonel Gamez and Yazmin Delgado; and his siblings, Isaac Gamez, Elia Barajas, Alicia Avalos and Teresa Gamez. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.
