She was predeceased by: her parents, Haskell Capps and Elva Capps; her son Terry Barnhill; and her siblings, Edward Capps, Amelia Callahan, Myrtie Henley and Rachel Linstead.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Barnhill and Tina Sarten (Jimmie). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
