He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cotton and Ruth Cotton (Griffin); his wife Dorthy Jean Cotton; his siblings, Irene Buss, Billie McCutcheon, Pearl Thompson, Alvin Cotton and Donald Cotton; Madiline Cotton.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Cotton (Karen), Rita Hyman and Barbara Dunnigan (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Joshua Hyman, Heather Taylor (Neil), Jason Hyman, Patrick Cotton, Sarah Davis (Mark), Ashley Ashcraft (Chris) and Nicolas Teel (Nichole). He is also survived by relatives and many friends.
