She was predeceased by : her father Dueal Battles; and her husband Gearl Payne. She is survived by : her children, Vicki Hargett (Dale) of Clinton, Don Gardner (Sandra) of Mount Vernon, Kathy Ecali (Dominick) of Arizona and Kenneth Payne (Cricket) of Quitman. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty four great grand children; thirteen great-great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
