He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson W. Hardy Sr. and Lois Inez Smith Hardy; his sisters, Ollie Mae Pesnell and Lokeel Evert; his daughters, Susan Hardy and Linda Pat Meador; and his great grandchild Saul Billingsley (June Cordrey Hardy).

He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Hardy of Clinton and Joni Hardy (Jimmy); his sister Margaret Parker of St Louis, MO.; his grandchildren, Logan Shipp, Jacob Billingsley and Lea; his sons, Abe, Jack Billingsley and Keenan Billingsley (Katie); his grandchildren, Charlie and Blake Billingsley; his daughter Hannah Oglesby (Tyler); and his grandchildren, Sage and Vaughn Oglesby.

In lieu of flowers a donation to American Heart Association or U.C.A.P.S (Union County Animal Protection Society).
