We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Richard Larry Shannon of Clinton, Arkansas, born in Conway, Arkansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewell Shannon and Essie Shannon; and his sister Sandra McKnight (Marti' Shannon). He is survived by: his son Brett Shannon (Deanna) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Mark Shannon (Kim) of East End, Arkansas, Ashley and Jeremy; his great grandchildren, Bryce, Jax, Tatum and Cooper; his daughter Lisa Young (Perry) of Trumann, Arkansas; his grandson Chase Young; his great grandchild Lylah Young; and his brother Duane Shannon (Wanda) of Clinton, Arkansas. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.

“My condolences to the family, Larry was a good man, men like him do not come around often and he will be truly missed. My father who has already passed away and mother know him and Marti very well. When I got done I go to know Larry and Marti pretty will myself, they were good people and both will be terribly missed. In life we forget to say things that we should have said before it is too late, I sincerely hope that both Larry and Marti know just how much I loved them and that I will mess them.”
