Barry leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Barry’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Barry will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Larry Hoots and Shirley Mae Busby Hoots; his children, Crystal Marie Hoots of Forrest City, Kimberly Nicole Alderson (Chris) of Lonoke and Samuel Allen Hoots (Christy) of Colt; and his brothers, Gary Hoots of Colt and Ricky Hoots. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stevens Funeral Home (220 N Washington St, Forrest City, AR 72335). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Forrest Park (2605 S Washington St, Forrest City, AR 72335).
