He is survived by : his son Kevin N. Ponder of Germantown; his brother Kenneth Ponder of Searcy; his grandsons, Jonathan Drew Kapales Ponder of Walnut Ridge and Tomas Wayne Ponder of Germantown; and also Salma Jean Ponder of Germantown, Tennessee..

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stevens Funeral Home (220 N Washington St, Forrest City, AR 72335). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
