He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Lee Davis Sr. and Agnes Frost Davis; his wife Mary Lou Davis; his son Scott D. Davis; his granddaughter Samantha Townsend; and his siblings, Robert E. Davis and Allene Colvin.

He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Davis; his siblings, Fern Giudice of Arizona, Martha Myers of Arkansas, Dorothy Baskins of Arkansas, Rachel Davis Earl (Lee) of Louisiana, Ruby Rogers (David) of Arkansas, Otis Lee Davis Jr. of Arkansas, John Davis of Arkansas and David Davis of Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Allison Hayes, Dalton Davis and Payton Davis. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
