Ruby Wood Obituary

The memory of Ruby Wood of Combs, Arkansas, who passed away on May 25, 2026 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay Watson and May Watson (Young); her husband Joe Wood; and her brother Hartsel Watson. She is survived by: her children, Kenena Pelfrey (Doug) of Combs, Yolanda Mahan (Aaron) of Fayetteville, Joel Wood of Clarksville and Travis Wood (Shannon) of Patrick; and her sister Lorene Clark of Winslow. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and many other family members including her church family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Gideons International, for the purchase of Bibles.
