She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruthie Mae Everette and Bobby Owens; her grandparents, Mable and James Everette; and her uncle James Lee Everette.

She is survived by: her husband Marvin Cotton; her siblings, Pat Green of Murfreeboro, TN and Michael Everette (Connie) of Maumelle, AR; her mother-in-law Florence Jackson of Bellflower, CA; her niece Latrivia; and her nephews, Lil Mike and Lance.
