He was predeceased by: his parents, W. C. "Bill" Leach and Jewel Beckett Leach; his son Robert Wayne Leach; and his siblings, Montene Skaggs, Reva Cook, Harol Leach, Shelton Leach, Bernice Hawkins, Howard Leach and Maxine Leach.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nova Brady; his daughters, Sherry Griffith (Bill), Angela Strain and Susan Baker (George); his grandchildren, Shane Griffith (Casey), Jamie Griffith, Sarah Wallace (Hank), Steven Strain, Chris Baker (Alex), Dustin Baker (Jessie) and Abby Needham (Cole); and his great grandchildren, Cade Griffith (Katherine), Holly Griffith, Allyson, Lexi, Reese, Karis, Jenna, Savannah, Hayes Wallace and Brooks Samuel Baker. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his memory to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church building fund.
