He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Geans and Verdie Geans; his wife Hallie Geans; and his siblings, Ivory Lee Genes and Ruby Geans.
He is survived by: his children, Reginald Geans (Jamie Geans), Craig Geans and Bridget Onick (Mark Bowman); his grandchildren, Alexis Geans, Rai'Geans, Jasmine Ney and Amber Beebe; and his brothers, Clayton Geans and Michael Geans. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
