He is survived by : his wife Stephanie Hankins; his children, Emily Hankins, Hannah Alexander (William), Clay Hankins (Katie) and Jay Hankins; his grandchildren, Kennedy and William Jr. "Wessie" Alexander; and his siblings, Carla Hill (Kenny), Waylan Carl "Chip" Hankins Jr. (Glenn), Tommy Hankins (Sunnie) and Jimmy Hankins (Lisa). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
