He was predeceased by: his father Albert Harper; his wife Pauline Credit-Harper; his mother Marguerite Hawthorne (Hawthorne); his grandson Antonio Harper; and his great grandchild Semaj Joshua.
He is survived by: his children, Columbus Harper (Monica) of Mayflower, AR, Arnez Harper (Charletha) of Conway, AR, Antonio Harper of Conway, AR, Desmond Harper of Mayflower, AR, Carmelita McClure (Freddy) of Mayflower, AR, Huie Harper and Paula Scarver (Calvin) of Mayflower, AR.. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
