He is survived by: his brothers, Michael Vanaman (Nancy), Bradley Vanaman and Henryetta Walls Vanaman; his siblings' children, James Douglas "Doug" Vanaman Jr. (Tammy) and Amanda Vanaman Lovette (Jim); and his grandchild Abbigale Vanaman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephew and cousins.
