He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Margueritte Elizabeth Edwards Monk; and his wife Becky Monk. He is survived by: his sons, Brent (Jamie Monk) of Heber Springs and Brad (Samantha Monk) of Fayetteville; his siblings, Susan (Rick McConnell) of Lowell, Peggy Stroud of Heber Springs and Fred Monk of Heber Springs, Arkansas.; and his grandchildren, Lea, Graham, Emmie, Cayden, Jackson, Pace, Palmer and Parks.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Family Funeral Service (100 W Searcy St, Heber Springs, AR 72543). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
