He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Thomas Pruett, Sr. and Martha Ella Thomas Pruett; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Gross and Cindy Pruett; and his friends, Wayne "Dub" Sowell and Jack Lawrence.

He is survived by : his wife Sandra Parnell Pruett; his children, Ashley Nilssen (Edgar) and Chad Tommy Pruett (Kristen); his grandsons, Levi Pruett and Michael Tommy Pruett; and his sisters, Martha Gross and Mary Talaie (Al). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oak Bowery Baptist Church (889 Otto Rd, Conway, AR 72032). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
