He is survived by: his wife Rhonda; his daughters, Laura Crouch (Wesley) and Sara George (Jim); his nephew Chris Edwards (Shannon); his stepsons, Abram Barrera (Danielle) and Benjamin Barrera (Jana); his siblings, William "Carroll" Edwards (Nancy), Helen Tinkle (Doug), Sherian Pitts, Susan Bookalis and Wilma Cecile Farhangkhah; his sister-in-law Kathy Edwards (Paul); and his grandchildren, Lydia Crouch, Jacob Crouch, Hayden George, Natalie George, Elijah Barrera, Jasmine Barrera, Rose Barrera, Westley Iverson, Star Iverson, Emily Nelson, Jeremiah Barrera, Josiah Barrera, Elizabeth Barrera and Sarah Barrera.
Instead of flowers, he would prefer a donation be made to a local food pantry, the American Heart Association, or an animal rescue – because he cared about people and animals and was kind to them – with the exception of deer, and fish, which he liked to hunt or catch, and eat.
