John Ziegler Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Ziegler of Conway, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on April 30, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wendell and Georgia Elizabeth Ziegler; his sister Peggy; and his wife Iris Butler Scales Ziegler. He is survived by: his children, Nathaniel Ziegler of Wooster, AR and Robin Ziegler (Cliff Chen) of Pittsburgh, PA; his granddaughter Lucy Chen of Pittsburgh; his sister Jackie Hebner of Branson, MO; his sibling's children, Gayle and Allyn Hebner (Pat); and his former wife Carol Ziegler.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greene Chapel at Hendrix College (1600 Washington Ave, Conway, AR 72032).
His passion grew out of his own experience as a student at St. Andrew's University in Scotland where he was a fellow of The Rotary Foundation from 1956-57.
