He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James Horne and Elma Carson Horne; his sister Judith Annette Horne; his parents-in-law, Thomas Earl Hairston and Mary Margaret Smith Shoup; and his close friend Howard Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hairston Horne; his children, James Brian Horne, Joshua Wayne Horne and Mary Margaret Horne Debow (Mathew Alan Debow); his grandchildren, James Brian Horne Jr., Olivia-Shea Bayleigh Horne and Ashton Tate Horne; his brother Jack Ervin Horne (Kay Horne); his brother-in-law David Bryan Hairston; and his nephew Dean Horne.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home (650 Central Landing Blvd, Conway, AR 72032). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
