The memory of Mary Shimkus (Conway, Arkansas), who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her sister Dorothy (Georgia); her sons, Stephen (Minneapolis) and David (Phoenix); her stepsons, Billy (St Louis) and Michael (Seattle); and her grandson Eric (Phoenix).
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (305 Bruce St, Conway, AR 72032).
