She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Jones and Hattie Jones; and her brother Leo Jr.. She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Kymtana, Shannon (Rebecca Detken) and Sydnei (Michael Rayford); her grandchildren, Kindall and Myles; and her siblings, Charles, Kenneth, Greg, Jerry Jones, Belinda Jones, LaVelle Kenny and Tamika Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She also contracted bacterial meningitis during COVID – and survived it when some of the doctors and nurses had written her off – proving she was one tough Mama.
