He is survived by: his sister Ain McGarity of North Carolina; his daughters, Ashton Elliott (Michael) and Misty Tucker (Dalton); his grandchildren, Anthia and Lucian Tucker; and his cousins, Harriet Johnson and Jim Beaty.
