He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Franklin and Sallie Ann Powell (Wise); his wife Sharon Harrell Powell; his mother-in-law Johnnie Sue Harrell; and his granddaughter Alexandra Vega.
He is survived by : his children, Rachel Powell, Tommy Powell (Michaela), Stephanie Vega (Jorge) and Jennifer Powell; his grandchildren, Gavyn, Mason Vega and Augustus Powell; and his siblings, Donna Faye Allison, Debra Dardenne (Steve) and Frank Powell.
