She was predeceased by: her parents, Hulon Carter and Clara Carter; and her sisters, Glenda Bevill (Robert) and Connie Davis (Gilbert). She is survived by: her brothers, Eugene Carter (Louise) and Jimmy Carter (Linda); and her siblings-in-law, Louise Clements (Don) and Gilbert Davis.
Virginia chose to donate her body to science for use at the University of Arkansas Medical School.
