With sadness, we share the passing of Charles Wise of Corning, Arkansas. Charles, born on October 2, 1935 in Success, Arkansas, passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Leah Lockwood; his parents, Claude Wise and Dollie Wise Schlueter; his siblings, Jay Wise and Virginia Grist; and his sons-in-law, Ronald McGrew, Kurt Zepecki, Randy Knowles and Mark Lockwood.
He is survived by: his wife Reghina Moore; his children, Roger Wise (Christy) of Corning, Rick Wise (Debbie) of Pocahontas, Jill Burkheart (David) of Pocahontas, Gretchen Wise Knowles of Springfield and Tanna Wise of Corning; and his sister Ruth Harold of Heber Springs. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nelson Cemetery.
