He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Miller and Irene Miller (Guthrie); and his siblings, Roy, Robert, O'Neal, Gailen Miller, Betty McGrew and Wilma Drewer.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Dean; his daughters, Terrie Montgomery (David) of Poplar Bluff and Deanna Reeves (Heath) of Piggott; his sisters, Dorlene Conner of Corning and Diane Rice (Pete) of Rockford, Illinois; his grandchildren, Justin Montgomery, Stephanie Pennington (Ryan), Elizabeth Montgomery (Nathan) and Destiny Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Jude, Ellie and Norah Pennington. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ermert Funeral Home (1000 W Elm St, Corning, AR 72422). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
