He was predeceased by : his parents, Sterling O. Richardson and Dorothy Richardson (Crabtree); and his sister Dottie Ann Richardson Bateman. He is survived by : his wife Mary Ellen Fahy; his children, Dr. Richie Richardson of Collierville, TN and Dr. Christie Richardson Getman (Chris) of Germantown, TN; and his grandsons, Will and Gage Getman.
